Gold threads through pewter and pearl in long, unhurried strokes. The metallics shift with the light, now warm, now cool, never fixed. What looks like stillness is actually movement that has found its own pace.
This piece was made with a straight pour and tilt, the paint finding its own course with minimal interference. Sometimes the wisest thing the artist can do is get out of the way.
