ABOUT
‘Homebody’ means two things to me.
It means I create from home, my studio corner, my own small patch of the world. And it means something deeper. Being at home in your own body. Knowing who you are and giving yourself permission to express it without apology.
I have been a maker my whole life. Florist. Candle maker. Soap maker. The medium always changed but the impulse never did. There is something that happens when your hands are busy and your mind goes quiet. That is where I live.
When I started Homebody Creations I intended to explore every kind of making. And then fluid art found me. I did not go looking for it. It arrived and something in me recognized it immediately, the way you recognize a place you have never been but somehow already know.
Paint poured. Paint moved. I tilted and let go. And for the first time in a long creative life, the medium felt like home inside the home.
That is what I make now. Fluid art paintings rooted in Taoist and Buddhist wisdom, each one named for the teaching it carries. Original work, one pour at a time.
Welcome.
